The Retro Staycations site is located just 5 minutes outside of Ryde so is easy to get to. We have a huge car park, and pick-up/drop-off area plus Ryde Taxis will be running a continuous service from Ryde bus station and all other locations throughout the weekend. Find out how to book here.

We have also partnered with Southern Vectis to provide a shuttle bus service to and from the site direct from Ryde Transport Interchange. More details here.

As our Retro Staycations site at Hazelgrove Farm is not on a bus route, we’ve arranged for Southern Vectis to provide a shuttle bus between Ryde Transport Interchange and the event site.

The bus will travel direct from Ryde Transport Interchange to Retro Staycations, which is located just outside of Ryde. The shuttle bus will take 15 minutes each way.

The same shuttle bus will run from STAND C at Ryde Transport Interchange each morning, between 10:30 and 13:00.

And will depart the site to take attendees back to Ryde Transport Interchange between 21:00 and 23:30 each evening.

The shuttle bus is priced at £3 for a single and £5 for a return trip. As this is a private hire as opposed to a regular bus service, concessionary passes are not accepted. Fixed price fares only.

From Ryde Transport Interchange you can catch a connecting bus to anywhere on the Island.

Please note: This service is run by Southern Vectis. Any questions should therefore be directed to them – islandbuses.info/contact

Yes, car parking is available in the field immediately next to the event, this will be signposted from the farm entrance. To park a car costs £2.50 per day or £5 for the weekend, the proceeds from this go towards Ryde Cavaliers Cricket Club who are kindly giving their time to marshal for us.

NO – You will not be able to bring picnics into the arena. Water in 500ml sized sealed plastic bottles and bottles/cartons of still squash are allowed (there is a drinking water tap on site where you can refill your bottles for free) and you can bring in any small snacks/fruit/favourites for the kids.  You will not be able to bring cool boxes and large bags into the main festival site, carbonates (fizzy drinks) or any hot drinks. This is out of courtesy to our local Island traders, without whom we would not be able to stage the event and ensure that ticket prices remain so affordable. If you wish to leave the main arena during the day our security staff will check your wristband to enable re-entry.

Yes! The event is unseated, therefore you are welcome to bring fold-up chairs and blankets.

Please don’t bring tables or any other bulky furniture, including windbreaks, parasols and tented structures which can be dangerous in the instance of strong winds.

In the interest of public safety, our outdoor event licence prevents the public from bringing parasols, windbreaks or any tented structures onto what is an open space site. This is due to the risk of such items causing injury to audience members in the case of high winds as well as causing a trip hazard in low light conditions.

Jack Up Events welcomes disabled festival goers and takes all reasonable measures to assist with their attendance and enjoyment of the event. At the same time, the event takes place in the open countryside and disabled guests should be aware that the main arena, car park and surrounding areas are, naturally, fairly uneven and may be difficult to navigate. Stewards will be available, subject to peak movements, to assist disabled guests in getting into the main arena.

Disabled parking: No parking ticket required. A valid blue badge doubles up as your parking pass.

The main car park is immediately adjacent to the arena entrance and parking marshals will ensure that any blue badge holders are parked as close as possible to the main arena entrance. Please put your hazard lights on and make yourself known to marshals when entering the car park.

Disabled toilets are provided on-site.

Whilst you can pay by card on the gate and at the bar, some of the smaller local traders may not have this facility, therefore we recommend you also bring a supply of cash along to the event. The nearest cashpoint is located at Tesco Extra, Brading Road, Ryde.
